The January classes will be January 9th, 10th and 11th.  This year I have added an11am Monday morning class and it has been a great success.  Now you have six classes you can choose from during a card club weekend so no excuses for missing!!  I am impressed I am ahead of the schedule getting these January class projects posted!!  Maybe this year I can keep up with my blog a little better.

The layout will be using the La Vie En Rose paper pack and to show you how versatile it is I displayed some of my zoo pictures on it although it would also be great for your Valentine photos.

The stamp of the month is beautiful.  I love when they have a solid and detail part to the stamp set.  Look how beautiful this flower is and I did not have to color it.  This is all done with stamping only.

Close to My Heart has added thin cuts in the new Expressions catalog.  Look how cute these cards turned out.  You cut the pieces out with your cutting machine, stamp, color and done!  There are five thin cuts with matching stamp sets in the new catalog so check it out.

How can you not love this stamp set!  First every purchase of this set a portion goes to Operation Smile.  These are only two samples of the many little critters you will find with this set.  How cute would these 3x3 cards be added to a bag or package?  Come to class and you can make your own.

The New Year is just around the corner so welcome 2016!!  The classes have been going well this year and we are ready for more fun projects coming up in the next few months.  The new Seasonal Expressions will go live on the 1st and it is filled with a lot of new paper packs, embellishments, stamp sets and so much more.  If you have not gotten your copy let me know and we can get you one.

Here are the projects we did for our December classes:

Here is the layout we did using the Kaleidoscope paper pack.

The stamp of the month used the La Vie En Rose paper pack.  The left photo shows the card opened up and how nice it is to stand up on it's own.  The right photo shows the card closed with the band holding it shut.

Here are a couple cute cards we made that are in a shape of a teepee.  So fun to make and then they fold right up to fit into the envelope.  Perfect for the dog or cat lover in your life!

The Georgie paper pack was perfect for this cute 3x3 cards.  These are great to add to a bag or package for your favorite friend.

Lots of posts tonight but I thought I would share a couple of paper houses I have made.  These are a lot of work but I really had fun creating them.  I made two haunted houses and sold one and now I will be selling the Christmas church hopefully at a craft fair.

Check out how cool it is when you add lights in the windows.

November classes are heading our way the weekend of the 14th, 15th and 16th.  Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner which means Christmas isn't too far away.  Check out the projects we will be making next weekend.

The layout we will be making will be using the White Pines paper pack.  This paper pack is so beautiful and can be used not only for Christmas but other events as well.

This months stamp of the month is getting us ready to head into the new year.  Check out the falling stars embossing--this is one of our new embossing folders.

Embossing the leaves in gold and then daubing some color into them makes these cards stunning.  Such a beautiful card t send to someone special as they celebrate the Thanksgiving season.

Here are some cute 3x3 cards that will be great for the coffee/tea drinker in your life.  Just add a gift card with one of these cards and you are all set.
The annual Christmas card workshop was another big success.  Everyone who came enjoyed making their cards and went home with 25 ready to go Christmas cards.  There were five samples to choose from and everyone selected the ones they wanted to make.  Here are the five cards we created:

With a variety of ideas everyone found a favorite or two they really liked.

Seems like the end of summer got away from me and now fall is beginning to settle in.  Before we know it winter will be here and so will the holidays--time is flying by!  Although the October classes have come and gone here are the projects we created.

Using the new Sarita paper here is the layout the gals made in October. The colors in this paper pack are so bright and colorful.  I love the different combinations of colors they used to create this paper.

The stamp of the month was used for the words on the inside of the card, but for the outside the gals learned how to fold the paper to make these fun trees.  It was a big hit and much easier than everyone thought.

In the spirit of Halloween we had to make a card to celebrate the occasion!!

Check out the cute 3x3 cards using the new Urban paper pack.  3x3 cards are great to have on hand to use on that special package or gift bag for someone.

September Classes

September classes are right around the corner (Sept. 19-20-21) and everyone is welcome to come join in on the fun.  Check out what we will be making in September using all new product.  Remember you will be able to start ordering out of the new catalogs starting September 1st.

The layout will feature the new Zoe paper pack.  Not only will we be using new paper, but some of the items used in this layout were made with the new Cricut cartridge Artistry.

The stamp of the month for September-- S1509 Paper Garden-- is put into this cute mason jar (created using the new Cricut Artistry cartridge) and some of our new silver foil tape.  The paper pack is Kaleidoscope.

Here is the Georgie paper using the stamp set B1462 Lovely Birthday and some of our new shimmer trim to create a soft but beautiful card.

Who can resist these cute little goblins!!  These Halloween goodie bags are made using the Nevermore paper pack and the stamp set C1630 Little Monsters.

New Product Coming September 1st!!

Summer is winding down and the kids are all back at school.  Now it is time to look at all those summer photos and get ready to put them into some layouts using new product.  Convention was awesome (as always) and I always come away with fun ideas and samples ready to share.  Here are some samples I did at convention along with a few of my own.  Card club begins in a few weeks and you don't want to miss out on another fun year of creativity!

The theme for convention this year was based on the movie Up and this is a cute layout we created.

Check out how fun the new Kaleidoscope paper pack is!  So many fun colors bursting throughout the papers.  There are colors to match all your wild and crazy summer pictures.

I love the soft colors of the Georgie paper.  It is perfect for the new little ones in your life or can be used for those special occasions.

Urban will be great to use for your masculine layouts and cards.  The patterns on the background and texture paper will allow your imagination to soar.

I was so excited to see that we have some black and white paper again!  Although one side of one of the B&T paper has roses, the other five sides are different patterns of black and white.  These will be fun to use with old time photos, wedding photos and anything else you can think of.

Sangria is loaded with bright, bold paper to express those fun summer memories.  This layout I put in one of our frames,

Check out this beautiful photo of a flower I took.  I think the paper really highlights the photo and the cool thing is this paper is Nevermore--our Halloween pack!!  Look how you can use Holiday paper for other layouts different from the original intent.  If I didn't tell you it was from our Halloween pack you would never know.

June classes

The June classes will be held the weekend of the 6th and will be our last for this year.  Card club classes will begin again in September and new members are always welcome.  Here are the projects we will be making.

This layout will be perfect to add those summer photos. We will be using the Seaside paper pack and there will be plenty of spots (up to 16) to add photos.

The stamp of the month S1506 Ice Cream Dream is a set a lot of customers have been waiting for.  Great to use on layouts or cards.  Using the cricut cartridge Artfully Sent, we will make this cute pop-up card and Confetti Wishes paper pack.

These are two different cards even though the ice cream truck is seen on both.  The inside of the card on the left is in the photo below (on the left) and the front of the card on the right is below on the right.  These cards show both sides of the Confetti Wishes paper.

Operation Smile is a wonderful organization that Close To My Heart has chosen to donate to.  Since its founding in 1982, Operation Smile has performed over 220,00 surgical procedures to correct facial deformities in children.  If you purchase this cute stamp set-- D1653 Happy Everything-- $3 will be donated to Operation Smile.  The paper pack we are using is Scaredy Cat.

We always make 3x3 cards because they are great to add to gift bag or present.  Using the Hostess reward stamp set C1613 Paper Bird and the new Blossom paper pack you will create one of these fun little cards.

Hope to see you all at one of the classes!!

APRIL CLASSES BRING MAY FLOWERS

April classes will be the weekend of the 11th, 12th and 13th because of Easter weekend.  It is going to be a beautiful day for Easter here in Colorado so I hope everyone enjoys some time outside.  Here are the projects we will be creating next weekend.

With the release of the new Seasonal Expressions 2 the layout will be showcasing the new Jackson WOTG.

The stamp of the month S1504 Typed Note is seen here in this 4x4 crisscrossed card.  It is always fun to change up the size of the cards.

The Artfully Sent cricut cartridge that is sold exclusively by Close To My Heart, is a wonderful tool to make so many great and unique cards.  Using the stamp set D1634 Rain or Shine I created this fun swing card.

3x3 cards are so quick and easy to make.  They are great to add to a gift bag or package so you can add your own personal message.  These cards were made using three different stamp sets--M1044 Spring Banner, M1047 Timely Tidings and M 1048 A Quick Hello.  M size stamp sets are only $2.95 and are so easy to use on any 3x3 card.

March Classes

The March classes will be the weekend of the 14th, 15th and 16th.  New members are always welcome to come and join in the fun.  Here are the projects we will be making for March.

Everyone has a birthday and I am sure most of us have birthday pictures laying around.  Using the Workshop on the Go-- G1086 Confetti Wishes this is the layout we will be creating.

The stamp of the month S1503 Choose Happy has some fun frames and sayings.  This month I decided to think outside of the box (LOL) and have the gals make these cute little boxes.  These can be filled with fun goodies for a friend and were created using the Artiste Cricut cartridge and Seaside paper pack.

Once again I am showcasing the new Artfully Sent cricut cartridge with this fun Easter card.  It is so quick and easy to cut the base out and then add some stamping.  This stamp set is D1633 Hopping By and can be found in the Seasonal Expressions I.

This cute little 3x3 card is perfect to add to an Easter package or bag for that special someone.  This stamp setA1171 Little Note is also found in the new Expressions I.
