APRIL CLASSES BRING MAY FLOWERS

April classes will be the weekend of the 11th, 12th and 13th because of Easter weekend.  It is going to be a beautiful day for Easter here in Colorado so I hope everyone enjoys some time outside.  Here are the projects we will be creating next weekend.

With the release of the new Seasonal Expressions 2 the layout will be showcasing the new Jackson WOTG.

The stamp of the month S1504 Typed Note is seen here in this 4x4 crisscrossed card.  It is always fun to change up the size of the cards.

The Artfully Sent cricut cartridge that is sold exclusively by Close To My Heart, is a wonderful tool to make so many great and unique cards.  Using the stamp set D1634 Rain or Shine I created this fun swing card.

3x3 cards are so quick and easy to make.  They are great to add to a gift bag or package so you can add your own personal message.  These cards were made using three different stamp sets--M1044 Spring Banner, M1047 Timely Tidings and M 1048 A Quick Hello.  M size stamp sets are only $2.95 and are so easy to use on any 3x3 card.

March Classes

The March classes will be the weekend of the 14th, 15th and 16th.  New members are always welcome to come and join in the fun.  Here are the projects we will be making for March.

Everyone has a birthday and I am sure most of us have birthday pictures laying around.  Using the Workshop on the Go-- G1086 Confetti Wishes this is the layout we will be creating.

The stamp of the month S1503 Choose Happy has some fun frames and sayings.  This month I decided to think outside of the box (LOL) and have the gals make these cute little boxes.  These can be filled with fun goodies for a friend and were created using the Artiste Cricut cartridge and Seaside paper pack.

Once again I am showcasing the new Artfully Sent cricut cartridge with this fun Easter card.  It is so quick and easy to cut the base out and then add some stamping.  This stamp set is D1633 Hopping By and can be found in the Seasonal Expressions I.

This cute little 3x3 card is perfect to add to an Easter package or bag for that special someone.  This stamp setA1171 Little Note is also found in the new Expressions I.

February Classes are right around the corner

The February classes will be the 14th, 15th and 16th because I will just be getting back from Hawaii.  Thanks to all my wonderful friends and customers that helped me earn this wonderful trip.  Here are the projects we will be creating in February.

This cute layout is made using the Brushed Workshop on the Go.   The green trim around the edges was cut out using the Artbooking cricut cartridge.  We will also be using the green washi tape to add some pizazz!

The stamp of the month--S1502 A Happy Hello is made on a 5x7 card.  The parts and pieces are stamped, cut and arranged on the card.  The base of the card is our Kraft paper.

This cute birthday card was taken from the sample out of our Seasonal Expressions catalog (page 15) using the stamp set C1608 Brushstrokes.

"M" size stamp sets are perfect for our 3x3 cards.  This cute little cards can be added to a present or gift bag with a perfect note for that special person.  This stamp is M1051 Wish and can be purchased for only $2.95

The January classes are almost upon us so here is a look at the projects we will be doing.  With the release of the new Seasonal Expressions catalog we will be using some of the new paper packs and stamp sets from it.  The two page layout is using the Workshop on the Go Hopscotch.  This paper pack is so bright combining lots of fun colors.

This month the stamp of the month card is a swing card from the exclusive Close To My Heart cricut cartridge Artfully Sent.  Just in time for Valentine's Day the stamp of the month-- S1501 This Moment-- is perfect.

 Being that Valentine's Day is just around the corner I decided to spice up the monthly 3x3 cards with this cute stamp set-- B1470 Love ya Silly.  Everybody loves a little monster now and then.

 

The December classes were split this year because of a craft fair I was in, but the gals still had a lot of fun.  Here are the projects we did this year in December.  The layout was made using the Yuletide Workshop on the Go:

This layout is perfect to add those Christmas photos you just took!!

The stamp of the month S1412 Cutie Pie was created on a 4 1/2 x 41/2 card using the quilt technique.  Everyone has a birthday and this one would be fun to give to that special person in your life.

Each month I am trying to feature a card made using our new Artfully Sent cricut cartridge (exclusive to Close To My Heart).  There are so many fun cards that you can create in just minutes.  This owl card used the stamp set C1596 Happy Hexagons and is one of the many pocket cards you can make from the cartridge.

Each month we also make 3x3 cards which are so perfect to add to a gift bag or package.  These were made using B1438 Banner Wishes.  We also sell three different border punches, so each card shows a sample of the punches.

Well the New Year is upon us and with it the cold and snow here in Colorado!  I am already aching for the warmer weather, but that is still months away.  I will try and do better this year on my blog posting projects and workshops.  Here are the pictures from our Christmas card workshop we did earlier in the year.

We had a good turnout for the class and the gals had a great time putting them together.

The October classes will be the weekend of the 11th, 12th and 13th.  We will be doing this fun Halloween layout.  The spooky house was cut out using Close To My Heart cricut cartridge Artbooking.  This is a great cartridge to have for scrap bookers who like to add quick images to their pages.

 Check out these cute Christmas cards using the October Stamp of the Month.  The cute bear card will be one of the cards featured at my Christmas card workshop on October 25th and 26th.

 All the rage right now is a technique called smack down. We will be making this fall card using that technique.

We always make a 3x3 card and you will make one of these using the Petite Perks stamp set and Brushed paper pack.  These would look cute added to a gift bag or package.
