May Club Projects

May is just around the corner and that means more new projects!!  The May classes will be held on Saturday May 5th, Sunday May 6th and Monday night May 7th.  Three cards will be featured using a cute little stamp set, the Quick Cards-Shells (A1128 $6.95) and the May stamp of the month: Friendship Bouquet (S1205 $17.95). The layout for May will showcase the Footloose WOTG (Workshop on the Go) and you can purchase this for $29.95 which includes the exclusive stamp set only available in the kit.  Hope to see many of you at the May classes.

 This card made using the Quick Cards-Shells stamp set incorporates the re-inker technique.  Using three different colors of re-inkers on a baby wipe allows you to create a three-tone effect (as seen on the shell). You ink up your stamp on the inked baby wipe instead of ink pads.

 This card was made using the stamp of the month--Friendship Bouquet.  What a wonderful stamp that will only be available May 1st-May 31st.  This set is $17.95 or with a $50.00 minimum purchase you can get it for only $5.00!!  Don't delay because it will only be around for a month.

Using the Footloose WOTG I created this layout for the club classes.  The stamp set that comes in this kit is so cute with the fish, turtle, starfish and sea horse.  You can only get this wonderful set by purchasing the WOTG.

April Stamp of the Month

Hello Stampers -

It's April, which means it's a new Stamp of the Month. Our featured stamp is called You Are...it has 15 stamps of which 2 are fabulous backgrounds. Many projects can be made with this adorble new set. It is only available April 1 - 30th. This set can be purchased for $17.95 or spend $50.00 and get the SOTM for $5.00.

Dotty For You! Butterfly Card

 Here is a birthday card made from the new Dotty For You! paper pack using our Kraft Die-cut card

As you can see I layered the butterflies and popped up the last one. 

This is the inside of the card--love all the "dotty" papers that come in this pack.  If you spend $35 on Close To My Heart product you can get 24 sheets (2 of 12 different papers) for only $5!!

These two cards were made using the April Stamp of the Month--You are... (S1204--$17.95 or $5.00 with a $50.00).  I used the Florentine Paper Pack (X7153B--$9.95)  These cards are showcasing our new Colonial White Die-cut Card packs which are a tri-fold card with a die-cut edge.  You get 10 cards and envelopes for $6.95 (Z1738)

For this 3x3 card, I ran the paper through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots and then I sanded the paper so the dots would look as if I placed pearls on the card! I also added Liquid Glass to his tongue, eye, and nose. This is the A Bowwow Set (A1126--$6.95)

These cards were made using the Fashionista stamp set (D1504--$17.95) and the Cruisin Paper Pack (X7154B--$9.95)  The girls were stamped once and then again with different colors, cut out and pieced on top of original stamping to get heh layers of colors. Liquid glass was also added for dimension.

 

These are the two-page layout we will be doing at the April card club classes.  This month we will be using the Lucy Workshop on the Go (G1034--$29.95)  The cute flowers made on the layout were done with the Lucy WOTG stamp set that is only available in the kit.  The pinks, greens and grays are a nice color combination.

Welcome to my new blog!!  This is all new to me, but I hope to post new scrapbook and card ideas that I am working on.  Since this is Memorial weekend, I want to wish everyone a safe holiday.  I especially want to thank the men and women in the armed forces who sacrifice everyday to make us safe.  A special thanks goes out to my grandson Robbie who is serving in the Navy.
