.........bring May flowers!!

The May classes will be on the 4th, 5th and 6th.  Mother's day is celebrated in the month of May and of course we always think flowers--which is part of the theme for our class projects.  Hopefully all this snow we have been having the last few weeks will be gone and the flowers will start appearing.

Stamp of the Month--Pinwheel

 Hello Blooms is the stamp set used for this card. The flowers were cut out using the Artiste cartridge, stamped and then curled up the edges.  I hand created the flower pot and ran the pieces through the cuttlebug to add some texture.

Hello Tweety  and card bases cut out using the cricut make these 3x3 cards quick and easy.

The Chantilly WOTG helped create these flowers for our May layout.

April Showers.......

We had a good time at the April classes and everyone seems to really enjoy the cards and layouts they make each month.  The April Stamp of the Month is very versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.  All the girls really enjoyed creating the paper doll card and "dressing" her up.  The 3x3 cards again were cut out by the cricut and featured some retired paper Mayberry.

 The April Stamp of the Month has the option of hot air balloons, a cute bird or a big sun (card not shown).  You can still purchase this set until the end of April.

Now how cute are these paper dolls?  There is another outfit you can add to her (a short outfit with a little purse--not shown) or leave her in her undies and color those.  So many different sentiments can be added to this card.

Puns of Praise stamp set

Buzz and Bumble paper is so cute and with the exclusive stamp set from the WOTG you can add some great quotes and the little bee buzzing on the page.

March Madness

As we get older time seems to go faster and faster, so I apologize for not getting these posted sooner.  In March we created a quilted card using the stamp of the month, a fun egg card (since Easter was at the end of March this year) and some cute 3x3 cards using Petite Perks.  It was nice to see some paper that could be used for the boys in our lives, so the layout this month was Later Sk8r.

Happy Easter Everyone

 The Petite Perks stamp set this month was so cute and using some past paper--Elemental--we created these cards.  These were cut out using the cricut and Art Philosophy cartridge exclusively from Close to My Heart.

This layout was created from the Later Sk8r Workshop on the Go paper pack and exclusive stamp set.  I always create my own layout pattern for my customers so that if they choose to purchase the WOTG kit they can copy that layout in the recipe to add to this one.

February Class Projects

Well I have been AWOL for the past few months and I need to do a better job posting (and then maybe I will get a few more followers!!)  Thanks to my customer Carol for motivating me to get rolling again.  I am behind on showing you the class projects so I will back up and show the last few months projects in case anyone is looking for some new ideas.  These are what we did in February:

February Stamp of the Month--Home Sweet Home

This cute card features an "A" size stamp set Bumble Bee which sell for $6.95

This layout was made using the Claire Workshop on the Go.  This was a fun pattern to do and makes for a unique design when the pages are put together side by side.

Classes will be this weekend and I wanted to share with you the projects we will be doing.  It is suppose to be very cold, so come on over, get out of the cold and do some crafting with us.

This 2 page layout will be featuring the beautiful La Belle Vie paper with some fancy squares cut out by the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge.

This beautiful card, also using the La Belle Vie paper, is showcasing the January stamp of the Month which will only be available until January 31st and then it will be unavailable.

This fun card uses the Dakota paper pack and can be used for male or female.  Sometimes it is hard to create for the guy in your life--but this one is sure to please!

Of course we always like to have a 3x3 card and this month is no exception.  Here is a perfect card to add to your bag or gift for that someone special on Valentine's Day.  This card uses the embossing technique.
